Main Task: Post Production Feedback

Here is some post production feedback I gathered from my friends.

Front Cover:

On the left shows feedback from people and the amount of likes it has recieved.

Another one of my friends also mentioned "I think that a bit more content could of been put on the front cover, there are some bits of it that I thought were just left blank but other than that I love the masthead and the image used, I don't generally see a image like that on music magazines. I think that with more attempts you could be producing seriously professional pieces of work, keep it up
Jeffrey".

Contents Page:

As you can see one person has commented and liked so far.

I spoke to my sister about my contents page and she said "I like the layout of it, it's very unique, you don't generally see this in a music magazine and I think you have outdone yourself with this, a few bad things are that it lacks content, when I read a magazine I want to see A LOT of information to keep sitting for hours reading and looking back, the gaps could of been used for content, that's all really".

Double Page Spread:

Main Task: Double Page Spread FINAL

Main Task: Front Cover Final

Main Task: Unmanipulated Photos

I will be using this image for my front cover, the colour of the snapback matches the colour scheme of my magazine, the yellow and black will be consistent throughout the magazine and the white. The red bandana on the pirate will appear on my contents page. I will then being using the magic wand to take off the background.

I will not be using this image in my DPS because of the poor lighting on the right handside of his snapback and on his neck.

This was the image that I was intending on using for my DPS because the lighting was much better and because of that I could edit out shadows and the backgorund much more easier. The face of the person was much more clearer which showed definition on his face.

I then at the end decided that the previous image i chose for my DPS wouldn't work that well so instead I chose the image above and turned it clockwise, trimmed it a bit and then changed the background of the image to be black and white whilst "Irate Pirate" who remained in colour.

This was the image that I was oging to use in my edito
rs section in the contents page, I previously used this in my main task introduction.

I had alot of problems scanning my mock ups, I couldn't find a way to scan it properly, so my mockups are quite blurry and unclear, this will make me lose marks.
